We have created a new version of OnLetterhead that will work with AOL web-mail, Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo. So to get started using this new version, we need to update your old version of OnLetterhead. Let's get started:

Click the OnLetterhead button in your browser toolbar to start the update process:

You may be presented with a window informing you that OnLetterhead has updates to apply. Simply click the Start Download button to get these updates. In some cases you may be presented with this screen:

Simply Uncheck the box next to "Protect my computer.." and click OK to download and install the new version of OnLetterhead. You will be prompted to close and re-open your programs. Please do so, as this applies the new version of OnLetterhead and also turns the protection back on.

If you feel uncomfortable with updating OnLetterhead this way, you can uninstall OnLetterhead and re-install the newest version. Here's how to do that:

1. First, click here to download the OnLetterhead installation file. Save the file to your desktop.

2. Close all open programs, and then click Start, All Programs, OnLetterhead, OnLetterhead Uninstall. Click Next and follow the simple 3 step wizard.
This will uninstall OnLetterhead and you will be prompted to reboot your computer. Please do so.

3. When the computer starts again, double click the OnLetterhead install file on your desktop:

Follow the prompts to install OnLetterhead. When asked, choose Typical Installation.

4. After the OnLetterhead installation, open your browser and you should find OnLetterhead in the toolbar. You will need to click Login and login with your OnLetterhead user name and password. If you have forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Password" button and you will receive an email with instructions for resetting your password.

The new OnLetterhead toolbar is designed to make your work faster. We've included the most-used options right in the toolbar for easy access.

The drop-down menus are your designs, display profile, openings, closings and signatures. Simply click the down-pointing arrow for each menu and choose the option that works best for you.

You can still click the OLH (OnLetterhead) button to make changes to your display profile, create or edit your signatures, or update any dynamic features. You can then click the Refresh button to update your changes on the toolbar.

With the previous version of OnLetterhead, your design automatically displayed in the compose window. That's great if you always wanted to send email on your letterhead, but sometimes it's not necessary. Now, if you want to display your letterhead in your email, just click the Brand It button. Your design will display in your email and will be ready for you to type in your message.

You can also change the design and click Brand It again for a new design. Keep in mind, however, that anything you've typed will be erased when the new design populates in the compose window.

Also, when you are replying to a message that already contains a branded message, you will get a pop-up saying that the message will be cleared. You can safely ignore this message, and click the OK button. Your original email will still display without any changes.
